We are looking for someone who has: * Experience operating at a senior leadership role within Government and can articulate skills as outlined in the position description * Familiar and comfortable in te ao Maori and a working knowledge of tikanga and how it is observed * Confident talking to Ministers and executive leaders in te reo Maori, and articulating key policy statements in this context * Significant experience working with iwi and hapu, and whanau , including at a local level * Ability to quickly pivot between and lead priority tasks, while responding to needs of the government of the day.
