As part of Midlands Holdings, we are the 'total honey solution provider' delivering quality products and services derived from New Zealand's arable industry. We are seeking a full-time Packing Room Operator & Operations Cleaner to join our team in Ashburton. This role will involve assisting in honey packing operations and ensuring that the factory meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Key Responsibilities: Operate packing and process equipment efficiently, safely, and hygienically. Adhere to work instructions, procedures, and product specifications. Maintain product quality standards to ensure delivery of the highest quality honey. Keep the plant and workstations clean and well-organized. Participate in plant safety discussions and team meetings. Accurately dispatch product from the packing room and complete relevant documentation. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule. Assist the processing and packing teams when needed. Ensure the Warehouse is kept clean and tidy. What We're Looking For: A positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and contribute to a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Physically fit and capable of manual labour. High attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities. Practical mechanical skills. Intermediate computer proficiency. Desirable but Not Required: Experience in operating a Food/Dairy production plant. Work Schedule: Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM – 40 hours per week.
