Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) New Ground provides full service contract manufacturing for Coffee in a Can, Specialty Instant Coffee and Coffee Concentrate. Job Overview: The Packing and Dispatch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end packing and dispatch operations at New Ground, ensuring that all products are packaged to meet company standards and dispatched efficiently to meet customer deadlines. This role will manage packing teams, work closely with logistics and production departments, and ensure that all packing operations comply with food safety, environmental, and health and safety regulations. The role is also key in driving continuous improvements in packing efficiency, waste reduction, and overall operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the packing and dispatch process to ensure timely delivery of products. Develop and maintain efficient packing and dispatch procedures. Coordinate with production manager, procurement and logistics manager to meet customer orders and shipping deadlines. Operate packing and processing equipment. Lead and supervise packing and dispatch teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Motivate staff and ensure high levels of productivity and quality in packing processes. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to food safety, environmental, and health and safety standards. Ensure the work environment is safe. Manage equipment servicing and maintenance. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Continuously review and update standard operating procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient. Qualifications: Strong leadership and management skills.
