Packhouse Quality Lead

Full time The Quality Team ensures our fantastic miniature apples get to our customers around the world in top condition.
In this role, you will be supporting this team and enabling them to be their best.
This role includes: Leading the packhouse quality team Ensuring accurate, timely and quality documentation and data is in place Taking part in inspections, audits and testing Supporting the growth of Rockit Can support both day and night shifts for training and performance monitoring Work begins in the Orchard with pre-harvest preparation and training from the middle of January.
The packing season runs from mid-February until late October/Early November.
This role will work hours across both day shift and night shift to ensure consistent standards.
Dayshift hours are: Monday to Saturday 6.00 am – 4.00 pm.
Nightshift Hours are: Sunday to Friday 5.00 pm – 3.00 am.
Skills and experience you need: Experience in quality control and HACCP systems for apple export packhouse and cool storage operations Completed Phytosanitary training Team player with good people and relationship management skills Experience leading a team and training staff Flexible in terms of working hours Proactive approach to problem solving The ability to adapt quickly to changing situations Benefits include: Health Insurance, flu vaccines and a wellness program Learning & Development programme Opportunities to grow and develop with our rapidly growing business Birthday leave Steady supply of delicious apples!
