About RockitWe're looking for a new Rock(it) star to lead the packhouse day shift in our expanding business.
We're a New Zealand company taking the nutritious goodness of our unique miniature apples to the world.
We're a company in growth mode, with big plans for the next few years, and you will be right at the heart of it.The RoleThe Shift Manager reports to the Production Manager and oversees the operation of the packhouse during Day Shift to maximise performance of the team.
This includes:· A strong focus on people leadership of a team of 100 staff· Manage recruitment, training, performance and build a positive workplace culture · Manage production to meet quality standards, fruit volume targets and market packing requirements· Ensure safety and other operating procedures are followedThis is a permanent position.
The packing season starts mid-late February and goes through to October/November.
Day Shift operates Monday to Saturday 6.00am to 4.00pm.
Monday - Friday hours are worked in the off-season.
