Double Vision Brewing is looking to bring on board a highly motivated team player to work within the production crew bringing fine beverages from the cellar and through to packaged form.
As the Packaging Manager, you will need to value quality and consistency while driving the day's outputs alongside the Brewhouse and Warehouse teams.
The packaging and warehousing is a busy environment which will have dispatch and cellaring duties going on around you to guarantee our beersies are cold and fresh until they are out the door.
Preferably, you already have an 'F endorsement' but we are happy to explore putting the right fit person through a certification program.
There is also an opportunity to work within the brewing and warehousing crews The main skills you will use are: -Upholding a high standard of process flow and finesse -Carrying out day-to-day work in an efficient and responsible manner -Communication of complex information to other production staff and warehousing staff -Following detailed instructions and procedures to ensure specifications are met in a timely and safety conscious manner -Risk assessment when undertaking difficult tasks and problem-solving both immediate and future safety or quality risks -Data processing and spreadsheeting Your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: -Operation and mastery of the canning equipment including auxiliary belts and labeler -Working with Production manager to identify and perform any necessary equipment maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
-Performing the agreed quality control checks consistently and using data to feedback and identify issues.
-Helping with planning and forecasting of packaging materials, consumables and packaged beer stock -Updating inventory management system with packaging materials and packaged beer Some tasks that you may help with from time to time: -Brewing and cellaring work - when required -Assisting dispatch team to get orders together -Assisting warehouse staff in maintaining an orderly warehouse area -Helping with process equipment improvements and construction - when required -Assisting at events and with packing in and out - when required Need to Have: -Great communication aptitude -Teamwork skills and a good attitude -Stellar attention to detail -Strong problem-solving skills -Fork Lift Operating Experience -The Right to work in NZ (Work Visa, Residency, AUS or NZ CItizenship) Nice To Have -Full Driver's License with a clean record -F Endorsement -Understanding of Inventory management Systems -3 + years of warehousing / Freight experience -Spreadsheeting nouse and computer-based systems -Brewery Experience If this sounds a bit like you then PLEASE EMAIL: Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
