First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating WorkersAbout the RoleProvide packaging supplies to packing teams to ensure efficient packing operations.Liaise with Inwards Goods team for timely delivery of packaging needed.Ensure traceability of waste packaging is recorded.Escalate any issues regarding defects to the Shift Manager.Ensure packaging traceability is maintained using Rockit systems.Undertake regular packaging stocktakes to ensure correct packaging is on-site.Liaise with Techs to ensure packaging changeovers are completed correctly and efficiently.Skills & Experience RequiredExperience in a packhouse or food manufacturing environment desirableKnowledge of dispatch processesExperience training and/or supervising othersAccurate and efficientBe physically fit and healthy, able to work on your feet all day.Be reliable and conscientious.Able to follow and carry out documented work instructions.Reliable and can work unsupervised.Available to work up to six days per week, usually Monday to Saturday during the peak months at the start of the season.Prepared to work to meet production deadlines.Co-operative and works well in a team.You must be legally able to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.BenefitsCompetitive pay ratesHealth Insurance, flu vaccines and a wellness programOpportunities to grow and develop with our rapidly growing businessBirthday leaveSteady supply of delicious apples!About usWe're a New Zealand company taking the nutritious goodness of our unique miniature apples to the world.
