We've been around since 2017 making our mark in NZ optimising geotechnical solutions for challenging projects. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to optimise our efficiency by taking care of the office engine-room. We'd expect that you've done something similar and are looking for your next challenge.
Because we are a growing business - more than 20 of us now - we need someone who will flow with changes, multi-task, is flexible and willing to tackle anything that comes their way - from managing the inbox, to supporting Engineers with project administration, arranging meetings and minutes, running payroll and making sure our coffee machine doesn't run out of beans. We are looking for someone whose approach is to not only whizz through a spreadsheet but at the same time spot issues and tunnel down to identify and resolve the root cause so it can't happen again and be part of the auditing team to keep it that way.
Directly supporting the CEO and the team means that there is plenty of variety; with finance, marketing, people and culture, electronic admin with ISO and IMS Systems as well as working in the CRM. Accuracy and attention to detail are important in our world. So is an internal customer-service perspective. If you are efficient and really organised, have proven admin, communication and people skills, come and apply them here as the glue that holds our office systems together and enables our Engineers to focus on their technical roles.
We embrace new IT and have automated a few processes as we believe in delivering excellence to our customers in every way. We use Hubdoc, Xero, Smartly and the MS Office suite and there's more to come. You will also be supporting the Operations Manager with building and maturing quality systems throughout our business.
We're anticipating hiring a part-time Administration Assistant soon to support and report to this role. Their responsibilities are intended to be shaped around your strengths and development goals.
