PROCURE-TO-PAY PROJECT MANAGER Location: Wellington
Competitive hourly rate based Project Management, Procure-to-Pay, Electronic Invoicing, Digital Transformation Our client is in search of a proficient and experienced Procure-to-Pay Project Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and successful completion of a transformative Procure-to-Pay project. This role is crucial in ensuring that project objectives are achieved within the defined scope, timeline, and budget while promoting business adoption of new systems and processes. The successful candidate will have the privilege to work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver a streamlined and efficient Procure-to-Pay process aligned with strategic goals.
What you'll do: Spearhead the planning, execution, and completion of a transformative Procure-to-Pay projectCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teamsPromote business adoption of new systems and processesAs a Procure-to-Pay Project Manager, your role will be central to the successful transformation of our client's Procure-to-Pay process. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall project delivery, guiding cross-functional teams, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, identifying and managing risks, resolving issues promptly, working together with business units during transition periods, monitoring business adoption of new systems, supervising testing phases and conducting post-implementation reviews. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive you to identify opportunities for process optimisation.
Oversee the overall project delivery for the Procure-to-Pay and Electronic Invoicing implementationGuide cross-functional project teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within scopeEnsure all aspects of the project adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and standardsCultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the projectServe as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiriesIdentify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project deliveryResolve project issues promptly, escalating critical issues when necessaryWork together with business units to ensure new systems meet user needs and provide ongoing support during transition to new processesMonitor business adoption and gather feedback to inform future improvementsSupervise testing, quality assurance, and post-implementation reviews to ensure all project deliverables meet required standards What you bring: Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Procurement or related fieldProject Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirableProven experience in complex project management particularly in procure to pay (P2P) systems implementationExperience in managing large-scale projects involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholdersStrong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes and Electronic Invoicing systemsExcellent communication skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong problem-solving abilities with proactive approach to managing risks and issues What sets this company apart: Our client is a leading organisation with a commitment to innovation and excellence.
