Responsibilities of Overnight Security Guard:Maintain a good relationship with customers, retailers and center management.Leading and supervising other guards on shift (i.e. managing breaks and duties).Observing and reporting.Responding to emergencies and threats as needed.Controlling mall access including lock up/unlock duties.Escalate issues, concerns and events to the Site Security manager.Incident and Daily reporting.Monitor CCTV.Active patrolling of the mall.Requirements for Overnight Security Guard:Some security experience or a Green COA Security License is advantageous; however, if not & you are the right person, we can help you obtain one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.Must be available to work overnight shifts and at least one weekend night each week.Able to take directives on board from Operations Managers.Strong communication skills to interact and communicate with the client.Must be professional, reliable, confident & honest.Possess the ability to engage & build relationships with a diverse range of people.Must be highly skilled in communication and leadership.Possess a professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility.Strong focus on delivering high quality security solutions.Excellent verbal & written English communication skills and attention to detail.Physical fitness – able to walk and stand for long periods of time.Benefits:Full Time Permanent role – overnight shifts.Competitive pay depending on relevant experience & be paid weekly!Training and Development Opportunities – National Certificate in Security Level 3, First Aid Certificate and more!Work in a professional high-level team & environment.Develop in your role – become a key leader within their team.Application Method:If you wish to grow with us, please apply now and become a part of Red Badge Security.
