Our large outdoor play area is always filled with laughter and fun.The special kaiako we are looking for:Full time (we would consider 4 days but need longer than school hours)Level 7 ECE or Primary Teaching Qualification and Registration or 3rd yearLegally entitled to work in NZ (although we are in the process of obtaining our accreditation)Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews or willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully if you are newly qualifiedYour passion, energy & enthusiasm is contagious!A love for building trusting relationships with tamariki, whanau and kaiakoAt Feathers, our kaiako team call themselves a family - we're a team that supports each other, we'll always provide encouragement and every day we are appreciated for our mahi both by our owner and each other. The hours are 40 hours a week minimum. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $27.58 to $34.55 per hour, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience.
