We are looking for a talented sales rep with experience selling into the building and construction industry. The target is to drive contractor demand, provide industry-leading product knowledge, build excellent dealer relationships, ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Your territory will include SE Florida. Pay structure will be base salary plus commission.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuilding and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.Demonstrates the functions, benefits, and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.Perform product knowledge training to dealers based on their needs.Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise.Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.Submits monthly mileage and expense reports.Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.Performs all other duties as assigned.Jobsite visits - calling on all trades of the business.Driving contractor demand on core products and innovation.Cold calls.Minimum Job Qualifications2 Years Outside Sales Experience required.Degree in Business or related field.Valid Driver's License.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesConstruction Industry Experience.
