About the role
The Outreach and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for recruiting students to SAE Auckland qualifications and nurturing those interested through to enrolment. The ideal applicant should be a campus recruitment specialist, have outstanding customer service skills and impressive sales experience. To enhance SAE Auckland's visibility in the community, especially within secondary schools, this role also entails coordinating short courses and STAR activities, as well as attending career expos. A knowledge of SAE qualifications and/or the New Zealand creative industries is valuable.
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
Experience within a sales environment with demonstrated achievement of sales KPIs, preferably within the tertiary education sector.
Experience with Student Management and/or Customer Relationship Management Systems such as SalesForce.
Knowledge of the New Zealand tertiary education sector, particularly within the context of creative media education.
Interest in creative media education, particularly audio engineering, music production, songwriting, and/or filmmaking.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to connect with potential students, parents, and career advisors.
Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve required outcomes.
