Ventia are seeking an Outage Coordinator to join their team based in Bunnythorpe.ABOUT THE ROLEThe role involves developing an Outage Plan in coordination with the client's maintenance schedule, managing up to 3,000-4,000 work orders annually. Responsibilities include monitoring outage-related maintenance across all plant and equipment, and overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, as well as projects and transmission line work within Central North Island.Planning and executing outage-related activities for maintenance, projects, and transmission line work.Contributing to business growth by actively participating in team and organizational objectives.Continuously developing skills and knowledge to stay aligned with market demands.Supporting the overall business results by working collaboratively within the broader national Energy Network and Renewables team, sharing information with supervisors, team leaders, and colleagues when appropriate.The focus is on effective teamwork, communication, and the ongoing improvement of processes to ensure the success of outage management and maintenance activities.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis role will be based in the Manawatu-Whanganui region.Minimum 40 hours of work per week guaranteed, Monday to Friday.The salary range for this role is between 85,000 NZD to 95,000 NZD.ABOUT YOU3 years of relevant work experience in a substation environment.Relevant experience in High Voltage work.Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.Language Skills - Can correctly interpret written and spoken English information and translate it into the tasks at hand; Fluent verbal English skills; Good written English skills.Safety - Ability to identify and control Hazards and risks; Demonstrated high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the Low Voltage and High Voltage Industry.ABOUT VENTIAVentia is one of New Zealand's leading infrastructure services companies.
