Guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and matauranga Maori, we provide holistic, whanau-centred support that embraces cultural diversity and uplifts mana.About the RoleAs an ACC Registered Practitioner with ODWR, you will:Provide therapeutic support to wahine and whanau who have experienced trauma and criteria to meet sensitive claim, and family violence, utilizing evidence-based and culturally appropriate practices.Develop and facilitate trauma-informed therapeutic interventions, incorporating Te Ao Maori perspectives and practices.Work collaboratively with whanau to create personalized healing plans, addressing their unique needs and aspirations.Contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment, ensuring seamless integration of care.Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ODWR and ACC guidelines.We Are Looking For:ACC registration as a counselor, social worker, psychologist, or other appropriate qualification.A strong understanding of whanau family violence dynamics and the impact of trauma on whanau.Proven ability to deliver trauma-informed therapy, ideally with experience in whanau-led or culturally responsive approaches.Knowledge of and respect for Te Tiriti o Waitangi and matauranga Maori, with a commitment to equity for Maori whanau.Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?Be part of an inclusive environment where your mahi makes a real difference.Access paid professional development opportunitiesPaid birthday leaveCollaborate with a team that values manaakitanga, aroha, and empowering whanau.
