Horizons Oscar Programme Supervisor Job Advertisement Te Whare Awhero (Hope House) is seeking a supervisor to join our well-established Horizons Oscar team in a part-time role – anywhere between 15 to 20 hours a week. 
If you enjoy working with children and being part of a great team then we would like to talk with you further.  Horizons Oscar offers before-school, after-school and school holiday programmes.  
We run from five sites within the Greater Hornby area based at local primary schools. 
Te Whare Awhero is a non-profit Community Trust, with a vision to see primary and intermediate aged children enjoy their, before-school/after-school/holiday programme experience in a safe and loving environment at an affordable rate for our parents/caregivers. 
We are seeking someone to support with the afternoon sessions potential from 2.30pm to 5.30 or 6pm 
The successful applicant for this role will need to have good initiative and the ability to see things that need action and attention and implementation. Good interpersonal skills for dealing with a wide variety of people. Have the ability to work well in a team environment.  A love for children and proven gifting in communicating with and relating to them.  First Aid Certificate or willingness to do a first-aid certificate.  
The successful applicant must be able to pass an NZ police check for working with children. 
The preferred applicant will need proven experience as a program supervisor within the childcare sector, and specifically experience working with 5-13 year olds.
