Join one of Australia's largest alternative real estate investment managers, with committed capital of A$8.9 billion.This role will suit you ifyou enjoy building relationships and leveraging your network to originate income credit deals in real estate.you are open to new ways of evaluating risk and originating deals - we don't want a robot.you want to be part of a demanding team that pushes each other to have an impact.What we offer:Strong capital inflow (we have grown our capital under management from $6.1b to $8.9b in 18 months) allowing for significant career development through transaction opportunities.Opportunity to establish yourself in a rapidly growing, successful company (we have grown from 70 to 100 people in the last 12 months).Discretionary bonus based on performance.Who we're looking for:Someone with deep investment experience in real estate credit and structured finance who wants to do something bigger.To have an impact in this role, we think you'd be someone who:has built up an extensive career and network in Melbourne's real estate and income credit market.is a self-starter, you can hit the ground running by leveraging your network and skills.You will be responsible for the origination and execution of income credit real estate debt investments.You will evaluate new loan opportunities and drive new transactions - originate and negotiate deals, work with the analysis team, present opportunities and coordinate execution.The primary focus is originating non-construction first mortgage loans, including land loans, investment loans and residual stock loans.Investments will primarily be sourced on a first-mortgage basis however may also include secured mezzanine debt loans or B notes from time to time.Contribute to the investment strategy - adapting to what can be an often-fluid market environment.Conduct portfolio analysis and articulate reasoning behind credit decisions.About the Company:Qualitas is one of Australia's largest alternative real estate investment managers, with strong capital inflow and committed funds under management of A$8.9 billion across credit and equity fund mandates.
