About the Role
Right now, we're looking for an Orderly to join the team and take up a permanent full-time role that has arisen due to one of the team about to retire. This role requires lots of energy and vigor to become part of the team and you'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
About the Team/Service/ Location
Based at Timaru Hospital you will join a team who are in charge of doing the physical tasks that need to be done. You will be moving and delivering items such as medical equipment, blood products, and medical specimens within our hospital and also to our other operating locations. You will also be the face of Health New Zealand - South Canterbury, being the ones to move patients, giving you the opportunity to warm them up or calm them down during their patient journey with us.
About you
Although you will sometimes be working alone and unsupervised in various locations, you will always be linked to our reliable orderly team by radio. They've got your back, and you've got theirs too.
