Right now, we're looking for an Orderly to join the team and take up a casual role. This role requires lots of energy and vigor to become part of the team and you'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!

You will join in with a team who are in charge of doing the physical tasks that need to be done. You will be moving and delivering items such as medical equipment, blood products, and medical specimens within our hospital and also to our other operating locations. You will also be the face of Te Whatu Ora - South Canterbury, being the ones to move patients, giving you the opportunity to warm them up or calm them down during their patient journey with us.

Although you will sometimes be working alone and unsupervised in various locations, you will always be linked to our reliable orderly team by radio. They've got your back, and you've got theirs too.

Success factors for this role are:

Honest, trustworthy, and reliable

Physically fit and in good health

Able to demonstrate a professional, positive attitude towards colleagues, patients and whanau at all times

Versatile and capable of doing a range of duties

Valid Drivers Licence
