About Us:
DMS is looking for our next Orchard Supervisor superstar! This role is to mainly work in kiwifruit orchards allocated to our Te Puna site. However, due to the nature of your work, you will be required to work on DMS owned and managed orchards within the wider Bay of Plenty region.

What You'll Do:
As an Orchard Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating all on-orchard activities throughout the year, making sure that grower and industry compliance requirements are met. Your actual tasks will be many and varied throughout the year - with flexibility and extended work hours being required, especially during seasonal peaks.
Working closely with our Orchard Managers, you will be required to supervise the day-to-day activities of both internal and contractor teams at different times, ensuring teams are safe at all times and following best practices.
What We're After:
Experience within the kiwifruit industry is preferred, but other relevant horticultural or agricultural experience will be considered.
Excellent planning, prioritising and time management skills, as this job is very demanding during peak season.
Proven ability to train, supervise and lead staff.
Strong communication skills; clear English is required due to working with a highly diverse workforce.
To be highly self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
To be committed to health and safety in the workplace.
A full driver's license is required to be able to drive work vehicles.
