Join a company that's growing! We are looking for an Orchard Supervisor to join our team in Patumahoe, rural South Auckland. If you are passionate about horticulture and leading a team - come and work for a company that values its people!
This is a full-time, permanent position.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Reporting to the Orchard Manager, you will be:
Supervising and motivating a team of people from various cultural backgrounds
Sharing your knowledge and experience while you upskill and develop your team
Supporting your team to perform quality work
Keeping accurate records, including timesheets and calculating piece rates
ABOUT YOU:
You will have:
A strong background in the kiwifruit industry, with experience in winter pruning and other orchard tasks
Experience training and leading teams
A good understanding of mechanical, tool and machinery operations including tractors
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A can-do attitude and the ability to build strong relationships
A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace
A legal right to work in NZ as defined by Immigration NZ

With our main facility situated in Patumahoe, Rural South Auckland, Punchbowl owns and operates managed and leased Kiwifruit throughout the Auckland, North Waikato, and Northland areas. We also run a busy seasonal packhouse and cool-store facility. We pack approximately 4 million trays of kiwifruit annually.
