Reporting to Orchard manager, your areas of responsibility may include: Complete the start of the day process with the team, including daily toolbox meetings to ensure Health and Safety compliance, productivity, and quality standards.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve all quality specifications, fostering a culture of high performance and teamwork.
Collaborate with orchard and operations managers to set and monitor productivity targets, ensuring efficient operations.
Record timesheets daily and report any absentees on our timesheet software system each morning.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: Previous experience as an Orchard Supervisor or similar role in the horticulture industry.
In-depth knowledge of kiwifruit orchard tasks and techniques.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders.
Valid driver's license and valid work visa status.
