The Fresh Fruit company of New Zealand (Freshco) grows, packs and exports a wide range of apple varieties right here in Hawkes Bay. We have grown both in New Zealand and internationally and are at an exciting phase with plans of major volume expansion in orcharding post-harvest. 
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has become available at Freshco and we are now on the hunt for an exceptional Orchard Foreman to join our team!
Our expectation is that you bring substantial leadership experience and a good understanding of the day-to-day crucial tasks for optimising our apple growth. Your capability to embrace diverse cultures and prior experience working with an RSE team is essential. During peak seasons your commitment will entail working 6 days a week and will be reporting to the orchard manager. 
The role:  Be part of a wider team as well as manage a small team of orchard hands Assist with training of seasonal staff Completing general orchard work, such as but not limited to redevelopment, tractor driving, spraying and pruning.  The successful candidate will have:  A minimum of 2-3 experience in orchard operations Team leadership experienceExcellent time management skills Good communication, verbal and written Current full driver licence If all of this sounds like you and you wish to be part of a progressive team, then don't hesitate to apply.
