Orchard Assistant Manager

Propagation: Preparing seeds and containers before planting. Ensure seedlings and seeds are healthy.
Responsibilities:

Selecting seeds, mixing soil, and planting them in the field or nursery containers.
Ensure all seeds undergo correct treatment before propagation, which includes awakening dormant seeds, managing temperature, water, sunlight, and fertilizers.
Irrigation: Ensure all crops receive suitable water and nutrients, watering plants manually and automatically via irrigation systems as needed.
Reporting: Keep reports and monitor losses, yield, and plant growth.
Pest and Disease Control: Manage pest and disease control with appropriate use of herbicides and insecticides.
Package and dispatch crops/plants according to customer specifications.
Adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures.
Schedule inspections of plants at the right time from inside and outside the greenhouse.
Pack plants into various packaging in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain soil and water levels, including production records.
Maintenance: Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Work Schedule: Weekly hours of work will be 30-40. Relevant work experience of 3 years.

Pay: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour
