Vacancy No : ROT03284 Dental Therapist or Oral Health TherapistLakes Rotorua Hospital2025 Fixed Term Parental Leave 12-month durationAbout the Role The Community Oral Health Service is seeking a motivated and passionate Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist to join our fun and friendly Community Oral Health Service team, based in Rotorua.
This position is a fixed term 12-month position to cover parental leave from January to December 2025.
This position requires a registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist with sound clinical, administration and communication skills as well as a strong team commitment.
We provide a supportive team environment, clinical peer support, ongoing professional development, and a fun friendly environment.

About You Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalentRegistration with the Dental Council of New ZealandExcellent sterilisation & infection controlEmpathy and compassion when working with tamariki and whanauExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHave a helpful, flexible, positive, and adaptable dispositionThrive in a busy and client-focused teamExperience working with diverse groups of all ages and stagesDemonstrates a commitment to uphold Maori values and cultureSalary Range 77,087 to $107,600 pro-rated to hours worked
