Community Oral Health Service – Southern Salary Band – $77,087 - $107,600 p.a pro-rata + Kiwisaver New Graduate Oral Health Therapist position(s) are available in Invercargill, and Gore Full-time (40hrs per week) opportunities Earn, continually learn and be part of an awesome team!
We have opportunities available for Oral Health Therapists to work as part of our professional and supportive Community Oral Health Service covering the Southern region which is bordered in the north by the Waitaki river and as far south as Stewart Island and from the east coast across to Queenstown in the west.
We will support you into practice, ensuring you are comfortable and confident in your development as an Oral Health Therapist.

Mo te turanga | About the role You will be responsible for maintaining the oral health of children in our region, educating children and their families on oral health and the prevention of dental disease.
You will recognise, diagnose and treat oral abnormalities and disease within your scope of practice.
You will work alongside a Dental Assistant as part of a supportive and friendly team who is committed to delivering quality health services for our tamariki.
View Position Description Mou ake | About you We are looking for enthusiastic team-players who are keen to grow their knowledge and skills with a proactive approach towards learning.
Excellent communication, natural empathy for children and great interpersonal skills are essential.
You will need to have the flexibility to be able to cover occasional rostered evening shifts.
You will also need to be able to work in other clinics throughout the region; on occasion, this may see you staying away from home for short periods of time.
We are looking for people with great understanding of pae ora, equity and providing a service that upholds our obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Utu whanui | Salary range This role belongs to the DHBs/PSA Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and currently falls between the Step 1 ($77,087) to Step 7 ($107,600) p.a pro-rata.
