Oral Health Therapist | Community DentalWe are looking to mentor the next generation of Oral Health Therapists into employment here with us at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu OraHighly experienced team with plenty of variety that you won't see in private practice.Mo te tunga | About the RoleHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha Community Dental Service provides dental services to nearly 90,000 children aged 0-13 in Canterbury and South Canterbury and supports our colleagues on the West Coast. There are 110 front-line clinical staff who work with modern equipment in 22 mobile dental units and 13 dental clinics.We currently have a permanent opportunity working in the Christchurch, North, and South Canterbury area! If appointed to work in South Canterbury you can apply for the Te Whatu Ora Voluntary Bonding Scheme and be eligible for an after-tax payment of $11,796 after your first three years with further payments in years 4 and 5.You'll be working in community and school settings with children and their families/whanau and have the opportunity to work with diverse patient groups, managing a wide variety of oral health problems.
