This role is ideal for a driven, self-motivated individual looking to expand their potential and take the next step in their career.This would be a fantastic opportunity for you if you want to work with a team of experienced dentists who will treat you like a professional and who encourage skill development and further education. In well-equipped settings, a database of education patients that have been part of an established treatment and maintenance programme for 30+ years, you will be able to practice optimal care.Your primary responsibilities will include:Providing hygiene treatment to a broad range of clients to a high standard.OHI and review appointments to ensure that our patients are the healthiest they can be.Working with the Senior Clinicians and another hygienist to provide excellent, comprehensive clinical treatment to our patients.Providing an active Risk Management programme for caries and tooth wear management.Setting up for clinical appointments prior to the patient arriving.Maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients to receive care.Booking ongoing appointments for all patients.Working closely with other team members to ensure that the day runs smoothly.Recording patient notes and medical history accurately.QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this role will be:Passionate about your chosen field.Enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills with your patients.A warm and effective communicator, with a professional demeanour.An outstanding clinician with attention to detail.Experience in caries risk management programmes is an advantage.Knowledgeable and able to discuss restorative procedures.An awareness of digital technology - the practice is fully digital with scanners, x-ray, photography.To be successful in this role, you will need to hold unrestricted registration as an Oral Health Therapist (or equivalent) with the Dental Council of New Zealand, along with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).Additional InformationAre you ready to take your dental career to the next level?
