The Opportunity
A rare opportunity has become available at our Renwick Quarry for a Loader/Plant Operator.
This position involves the operation of all mobile and fixed plant within Fulton Hogan's Quarry operation. The role will include (but is not limited to) duties such as the loading of the feeder bin and stockpiling of material; loading trucks; interacting with customers; general plant maintenance as required; and the operation of the processing plant.
The position of loader/plant operator is widely considered the 'public face' of the quarry operation as it often involves direct contact with customers. As such, the role requires a positive and helpful attitude towards all customers, including all Fulton Hogan 'internal' customers.
As this role is central to the success of the quarry, remuneration package will be offered based on skill level and or relevant experience.
What you'll bring to the table
Wheels, tracks endorsements will be an advantage but may be obtained on the job.
Class two vehicle license is preferable.
The stockpiling of material and front-line loading operation (loading of trucks).
The operation and maintenance of all crushing/screening and other plants.
Safety conscious that will be linked to our Living Safely Culture values.
Mechanically minded.
Any other related tasks as required.
