Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Landfill Operator to join our team in Kate Valley.
About the role The purpose of this role is to be responsible for driving and operating company vehicles and utilising earthmoving equipment in accordance with training and instructions to perform tasks.
Key responsibilities will include Excavating, loading, and transporting soil, gravel and other materials to landfill in order to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
Proper placement to ensure most effective spreading or compacting of waste or other materials.
Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicles and/or equipment as and when required.
Complete all paperwork and records accurately, as directed and required.
Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Moderate experience operating earthmoving equipment, such as, but not limited to compactors, excavators, dump trucks and bulldozers Mechanical aptitude Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
