Join us as an operator/labourer in our 1st Coat Sealing team in Greymouth! In this role, you will perform general labouring tasks and operate sealing plant/machinery to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard. If you have a willingness to learn and have a passion for operating machinery, we can help provide the training necessary to get you up to scratch.
In addition to the above you will: Undertake manual hands-on tasks related to sealing works. Operate various plant used for sealing works, including the Emulsion sprayer Assist in the execution of the sealing works, as required by applicable contract specifications. Maintain open communication with other crew members and management. Ensure all plant and work sites are kept in a safe and tidy condition. We're looking for someone with: Availability to work away from home and on shift as required Full Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements (Class 4 and above are advantageous) Previous bitumen or emulsion handling experience is advantageous The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced team environment A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority Good Interpersonal and communication skills A willingness to learn and upskill A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour Creating, Connecting and caring for the community?
