Operations Support - Facilities Technician (20 hours, part-time) About us:

About the role:
We are currently looking for a part-time Operations Support - Facilities Technician to join our thriving and supportive enablement team. Your job would be to oversee all building-related activities and ensure our facilities are safe and well-functioning. You would also ensure the smooth administration of our Taamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Waikato offices. The role requires frequent travel between our different sites.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Help manage and coordinate all facilities related activities including regular inspections and maintenance of all buildings and key assets, quarterly building key and alarm register audits, security, phone systems and alarm codes and ordering facilities equipment.
Help coordinate and manage all vehicle fleet management related activities.
Manage Accident and Incidents relating to vehicles and buildings.
Be the point of contact for all facilities related external contractors.
Work collaboratively with external services and/or providers.
Oversee asset management and create and maintain an Asset and Facilities preventative management system.
Review utilities consumption and make recommendations to Operations Manager to minimize costs.
Ensure all relevant operational documentation (e.g. security agreements, lease agreements) are maintained and filed accordingly and promptly.
Provide monthly reports in areas of responsibility as requested by Operations Manager.
Support Health and Safety which relate to facilities and vehicles and any other equipment under the management of Operations. This includes risk management, hazard identification and maintenance of inspections and compliance activities (e.g.: fire extinguisher tagging and regular fire drills) and completing necessary documentation as requested.
This role will cover our Taamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Waikato region premises. Flexibility and ability to travel is a must within this role. Access to company pool car provided.
To be considered for this role ideally you will need to have:
Preferably 3 or more years in a Facilities role or in a relevant field.
Experience in a similar organisational setting.
Familiarity with Monday.com would be an advantage.
Proven ability to use initiative, solve problems and look for continuous improvement.
Intermediate level computer skills in all Microsoft Office tools.
Experience in Health and Safety documentation and Asset Management experience would also be an advantage.
