Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Operations Supervisor at our subsidiary in Lower Hutt, Wellington NZ. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Warehouse responsibilities including overall oversight of the day-to-day aspects of the New Zealand Warehouse.Through collaboration with Procurement/Sales/Customer Service and control the inventory movements to meet customer expectations.Support optimal inventory management throughout the Warehouse including the coordination of annual stock take. Drive operational efficiencies within domestic and international supply chain.Oversee the transport with external logistics companies.Oversee and lead Warehouse support staff.Maintain Wahl New Zealand ERP to ensure information is up to date and correct.Complete annual stock takes and provide assistance for annual audit process.Take direction from Finance Manager and external audit team to provide all necessary documentation when requested.Prepare for and take part in annual stock take for Wahl New Zealad.Purchase consumables for the office as and when required.Replenish stationary, kitchen and office supplies as and when required.Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure Customs clearance process is successful.Provide documentation as requested by New Zealand CustomsProvide direction on devanning container and arrange delivery of goods to Wahl New Zealand Warehouse and external Warehouse.Provide feedback on container order form sent by Australian Purchasing TeamReview and provide input monthly for New Zealand customer product/stock requirements.Provide customer service support to Wahl New Zealand customers.Answer incoming calls and provide technical advice on products.Take phone orders from customers.Provide update on stock deliveries.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Strong knowledge and in-depth understanding of Warehousing and Logistics.Experience in maintaining a safe work environment.Adaptable when required to plan, problem solve and act autonomously to achieve results.Experience in managing people.Strong leadership with the ability to influence others to achieve the best outcomes.Exceptional customer focus.Strong attention to detail.Ability to build relationships.Effective problem-solving skills.Collaborative and open workstyle, team player.
