This full-time Supervisor role involves leading a small Document Destruction team to ensure timely production of paper bales for export, along with maintaining our vehicle fleet.
Predominantly Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays, the role requires a proactive, organized, hands-on individual with an OSH and F-endorsed forklift license.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Ensure the efficient ongoing operations of document destruction across 2 shifts.Lead, monitor, and mentor your team to ensure KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.Ensure all processes, policies, regulations, and requirements are adhered to.Provide relevant reports and commentary to management as requested.Coaching and training team members is essential.Ensure Health and Safety standards are followed.Support the destruction drivers and the wider team.Other associated duties as required.ABOUT YOUYou are someone who easily connects with people from all walks of life, takes direction well, and approaches daily tasks with professionalism and a can-do attitude.Proven experience in manufacturing/factory environments with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (intermediate level or above).Energetic, organized, and able to manage time effectively while multitasking efficiently.Physically fit, healthy, and capable of lifting heavy loads when required.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.A proactive approach to driving improvements in processes and ensuring compliance.Flexibility to work on weekends when needed (details to be discussed during the interview).WHAT'S ON OFFERThis is an exciting opportunity to become part of a motivated, passionate, and diverse team within a company that values and rewards outstanding performance.
