Operations Senior Administrator & 2IC - Habitat for Humanity ReStores Habitat for Humanity Northern Region LtdAdministrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)This newly created role will be assisting the Operations Manager with ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all Northern Region ReStore charity shops (Auckland and Northland ReStores). This role supports the ReStore Managers on profit maximisation, stock levels, acquisition of goods for resale and ensure consistency with procedures, branding, and communication.The role would suit a dynamic person who loves working with a diverse team as well as being an administrative star. About 70% of the role is administrative and 30% would be supporting the retail and logistics team with the Operations Manager.You would need to love admin, people and problem solving with no day being the same due to the operational nature of this role. If you have a strong background in operations, admin with a 'can do' attitude, as well as a good understanding of retail then we would love to hear from you.What we offer is a kind and family like working environment, variety of tasks, a wonderful, experienced and nurturing manager plus a great wider team to entertain you.Training will be provided.Duties include: MarketingWork closely with Restore Managers to ensure marketing collateral is clearly displayed.Support the Digital Marketing Executive with ReStore Manager training in relevant areasReStore visits with the purpose of obtaining photos/videos for promotional useFinanceSupport the ReStore managers in the provision of timely and accurate invoicing for the Accounts teamProvide accurate monthly volunteer hours to the Accounts teamProvide weekly & monthly reporting to Finance when requested by the Operations Manager e.g., Vend reportingSupport the Operations Manager individual ReStore sales targets for each month.LeadershipEnsure smooth operational running of the ReStores in case of absence of the Operations ManagerWork with the Operations Manager, General Manager, Senior Management Team, and stakeholders to provide leadership, vision and strategic direction to the organisationAssist the Operations Manager in the development, coaching and motivating of team membersSet clear expectations and hold people accountable for delivering results and outcomesInvolvement with ReStore team member training and teambuilding eventsCoordination and management of ReStore volunteersOtherDrive ReStore expansion and growth with new sitesWork with the Operations Manager and HR to ensure staff numbers are optimalSupport the Operations ManagerAttend other meetings and training relevant to ReStoreHealth & SafetyUnderstand and comply with all company health and safety policies and proceduresReport all accidents, hazards, or risks in a timely mannerWork alongside the Operations Manager and Health and Safety Officer ensuring compliance of ReStoresOur organisation is kind and empathetic as well as being efficient with great processes.
