About the team The Network Modelling and Commissioning Team, within System Operations, provides critical engineering expertise to safely and securely integrate transmission assets into the power system.
We also coordinate and evaluate updates to transmission and generator asset capabilities, adapting as the network evolves.
Whether dealing with near real-time operations or shaping long-term grid developments, this team thrives on tackling challenges across multiple timeframes.
About the opportunity Based in Wellington, you'll take a leading role in ensuring the safe commissioning of transmission assets.
You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve complex commissioning challenges, conduct engineering assessments, and update network models to reflect changes while supporting renewable energy projects.
