### Job Description
Darden Restaurants is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Operations Manager** to join our team in a remote work capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across our restaurant locations while fostering a culture of leadership, inclusivity, and strategic growth. #### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Operational Oversight:**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned restaurants, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with restaurant management teams to optimize operational efficiency, drive sales growth, and enhance guest satisfaction.
2. **Financial Management:**
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for restaurant operations.
- Analyze financial reports, initiate corrective actions where necessary, and ensure profitable decision-making.
3. **Strategic Planning:**
- Lead strategic initiatives that align with Darden's long-term goals, focusing on operational improvement and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for expansion and development of new business ventures.
4. **Team Leadership and Development:**
- Cultivate a culture of mentorship and professional growth among restaurant leaders and staff.
- Implement training programs designed to elevate performance, enhance team engagement, and promote a positive work environment.
5. **Resource Management:**
- Assess and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing solutions that enhance service delivery.
6. **Problem-Solving:**
- Address operational challenges proactively, employing strategic thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
- Foster open communication with all staff members, encouraging feedback and ideas for improvement.
7. **Compliance and Safety:**

#### Requirements:
- **Educational Background:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 8 years in restaurant operations management, with a strong understanding of restaurant performance metrics and financial acumen.
