Operations Manager Northland (Whangarei) We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-driven individual to join our Northland team as an Operations Manager!

About the role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning services operations for clients and will provide account management to achieve target activities versus our contractual obligations. Your focus will be to manage and motivate the team to achieve satisfied customers and maximize our earning potential at each site. A typical day would include the following:
Ensure delivery of an efficient and on-time service to our customers without complaints.
Provide leadership to resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
Ensure correct staffing numbers are recruited and maintained to complete the job within budget labour costs.
Ensure payroll is completed weekly and the team is paid correctly without any complaints.
Work closely with the Branch Support to ensure payroll and branch administration deadlines are met.
Work with the branch management team to ensure delivery of budget profit.
Meet with existing or new clients.
Ensure access to well-maintained equipment and sufficient materials and consumables are available for your clients and team members.
Undertake any other tasks reasonably required to assist the company in achieving its business objectives.
Support the sales team to explore and develop new service offerings.

About you:
The ideal candidate will be able to use our TRUE values to focus on providing wrap-around support and guidance to get the best out of our people and our customers. You will be a polished and motivated individual with at least 3-5 years of operational and management experience, adding value to our global business and wanting to progress within our organization. You will bring energy and initiative to the role and have sound knowledge of the area/region.

Key responsibilities:
Deliver an efficient and on-time service to our customers without complaints.
Plan and organise the start-up of new contracts.
Review delivery of existing services for continuous improvement.
Develop relationships with key customers.
Ensure the fair and just management of all employees in your area of operation and promote sound employment relations.
Conduct regular site visits checking team leaders and supervisors are following health and safety and quality systems and procedures, conducting quality audits as needed.
Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and compliance is reviewed.

Key Skills and experience required:
Ability to deliver efficient and on-time service to our customers.
Understanding of an operational environment.
The ability to lead and manage multiple sites and cleaning teams.
Excellent attention to detail.
Drive from the front and able to manage difficult conversations.
Organized and motivated individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and fill in where required.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
Confident computer and mobile device user.
Well-presented and promotes a professional image of the company.
Flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.

Further Requirements:
Full Clean NZ Drivers License.
Must be able to pass and maintain Ministry of Justice Checks and relevant Police and Security checks.
Eligible to work in NZ on a full-time basis.
