We enjoy a high-performing environment with a family-based culture and aim to ensure the highest level of safety for our employees, customers, and the community.The Operations Manager will provide effective management to our people and assets and shall oversee that jobs are scheduled and resourced in line with job scoping, client requirements and compliance considerations.This role ensures all functions are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's health and safety policy, client requirements, Waka Kotahi requirements, rules and guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Improve operational performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.Plan, direct, train and provide leadership of the branch's in-field operations.Drive business growth through people and process improvement.Foster a high performing winning culture underpinned by safety and delivery of quality service.Implement and maintain auditing compliance, competency training, assessment and certification.Reporting of branch operational KPI's and performance.Maintain productive relationships with new and existing clients and stakeholders.Role Requirements:Industry-relevant experience with proven people supervisory / management skills.Relate well to a diverse range of people and working styles.Apply critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity to all situations.A serious approach to Health and Safety Management.An ethical, forward-thinking leader with experience managing ER related issues.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure and always presenting a professional front.How to applyIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, we want to hear from you.
