We are dedicated to attracting top talent who share our commitment to excellence and innovation in everything we do.The Job We Have On OfferThe Operations Manager role will be responsible for:People Management: Lead and mentor a team of project managers and operational experts, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Resource Management and Planning: Efficiently allocate resources to projects, ensuring optimal utilisation and adherence to project timelines and budgets.Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the operations department, ensuring financial goals are met.Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.Project Innovation: Drive innovation within projects, seeking opportunities to enhance product offerings and service delivery.Efficiency and Continuous Improvement: Implement processes and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package, dependent on trade qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business.Opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.Career development and growth opportunities within a growing organization.Commitment to work-life balance and employee well-being.ExperienceTo be considered you would need:Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably within highly regulated environments delivering Instrumentation and Electrical construction projects.Level 4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Registration for Electrician)Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and demonstrate a commitment to health, safety and quality.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Financial acumen and experience with budget management.Customer-centric mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, including MS Project.Electrical Inspectors qualification would be beneficial.RequirementsHave the current right to work within New Zealand, for at least 2-3 years following the commencement of employment.Be available for a standard working week of 40-45 hours, with the potential for some overtime as required.The majority of work will be centered around Taranaki and the Central North Island and therefore there will be the need to commit to working away from home periodically.Expressing InterestIf you are interested in joining our team as the Operations Manager and believe you have the skills, attributes and qualifications necessary for this role, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are passionate about this opportunity to (application link).Role TypePermanentFull-time5+ years in a leadership role within industrial infrastructure or a related industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
