About the Role
The Operations Manager, reporting to the General Manager, is a new role responsible for leadership of the team and day-to-day management of all business operations - design, manufacturing and health and safety. This includes being responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling work, ensuring the right skillsets and resources, budgeting and identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies. You will also work to grow the business by ensuring we continue to deliver quality to our clients.

About You
If you are an experienced people leader or supervisor, looking to take your career to the next level, this may be the role for you.

Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a leadership style that supports a high-performance team culture. Success in previous roles coaching, developing, and providing guidance is an important asset.

Ideally you will have proven experience and technical expertise in engineering, manufacturing or production and/or a relevant qualification e.g. business or operations management. 
 Other skills and experience required include:
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to develop positive relationships and work effectively with clients, suppliers and contractorsProject management experience - planning, scheduling and monitoring projects to ensure timelines and budgets are metFinancial literacyCurrent operational knowledge of health and safety practicesWe also value a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
