This position will be responsible for overseeing and improving their inwards goods, dispatch, engineering and production. Working closely with technical and sales, this role is critical for ensuring the operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with their strategic goals.As Operations Manager you will:Lead Production, Pre-Pack, Engineer, Dispatch and Inwards Goods teamsManage cost effective, timely and correct production and packing of products to the highest qualityEnsure hygiene and safety standards at state-of-the art, high-speed facilityOperate at a strategic level, thinking, planning and executing the bigger pictureRemain hands-on to ensure the day-to-day operation runs safely, smoothly and efficientlyThis is not a desk job. You are a visible leader with a focus on your people, products and productivity. Engaging a highly skilled production, engineering and warehouse team, as it is only through your people that you will attain your, and the company's goals.What will you bring?Leadership –You must be an extraordinary people leader. You have demonstrated your ability to coach, mentor and develop your team. Your engaging and passionate personality enables you to promote a clear vision and expectations, setting your team up for a journey of success.Technical capability –It is likely that you come from a background in Engineering or Food Technology. You understand food manufacturing processes and machinery and can articulate how you go about solving problems of a technical nature.Continuous improvement –You are experienced in the use of Lean manufacturing methodologies.
