Income: Negotiable based on experience Based in Timaru, Industrial Controls South Canterbury Ltd. provides Industrial Automation & Electrical services to a diverse range of process and manufacturing industries predominantly throughout Canterbury and Otago, or nationally as required.

Our team of 100 encompassing automation engineers, network engineers, electrical engineers, electricians and apprentices are key to our success. Your past experience within electrical industry operational roles will provide you with skills and capability to optimise operational effectiveness through strong leadership, planning, project management and continuous improvement.
Leading the Operations team, you will be responsible for overall operational management and performance of the operational delivery team to co-ordinate our various disciplines to deliver successful projects and service works. You will enhance the organisations efficiency, performance, productivity and profitability while supporting the delivery of the company's vision, values, and strategic objectives.
Key result areas will be to:
• Deliver on ICSC strategy, goals, and objectives
• Build exceptional Customer Service
• Lead the Operation Teams
• Guide and coordinate work
• Champion Health and Safety
Reporting to the CEO and as part of the Senior Management Team, you will have sound decision making ability, understand the commercial importance of efficient operational activities and be able to identify opportunities for improvement.
