As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day to day accounting processes, planning and logistics of the funeral director resources.
Ensure the building and vehicle fleet are maintained and compliant.
Your role involves meeting monthly deadlines for payments, reporting and AML compliance.
Your people management skills will be necessary to overview the administration team.
About You: The ideal candidate will have previous experience or similar experience, along with a down to earth nature and sensor of humour.
Proven Operations Management experience in logistics and planning In-depth knowledge of the accounting process Excellent attention to detail, with a real emphasis on accuracy Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate well to a wide range of people Key Responsibilities: Operational Efficiency: Ensure day to day resources and timetables are met with optimal efficiency.
Problem Solving: Work closely with the General Manager to proactively resolve issues as they are presented.
Ensuring seamless operations.
Accounts Management: Processing of debtor and creditor invoices, and daily reconciliations.
Accurately report month end statics, debtor control along with AML compliance and reporting.
People Management: Strong leadership and team management skills.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, including health & safety, facility, and vehicle maintenance.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on monthly statistics and performance.
Project Management: Tasks from planning through to successful execution as required.
Experience: Advanced knowledge of Xero.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Deep understanding of logistics and planning of resources.
