About the Role: We are currently seeking to appoint an Operations Manager at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui. Reporting to the Operations Director of Taura, this role requires you to oversee several areas of our operational function, including EHS, Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for coordinating the activities associated with managing daily operations. You will also take ownership to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities for the operations, provide effective management of direct reports and train and develop staff to adhere to IFF policies and procedures Responsibilities Develop and implement annual operations plans and manage and report on variance to standard, costs, capacity planning, dispatch, safety, projects and other KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Set and control operational targets with appropriate metrics aligned with business objectives. Implement current best practice initiatives and drive continuous improvement processes. Develop, motivate and lead the site operations team, consisting of 7 direct reports and team of 35 Ensure safe working practices and employee compliance to all OH&S and Injury Management policies and procedures and lead from the front with respect to driving a safety culture across the business. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this person will also be required to 'roll-up the sleeves' and provide guidance and leadership within each areas of responsibility With a reporting line to Belgium, you are required to manage multiple stakeholders within the IFF business across Oceania and globally To be successful in this role: Proven senior leadership experience within a Production / Manufacturing or Operations leadership role.
