Our client is a residential facility, and has 3 separate community transitional houses in Auckland.
They provide 12+ weeks emergency accommodation, support and after care to assist those with addictions and mental health in finding suitable long-term accommodation.
We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager based in the Central Auckland facility.
This role will provide clinical leadership and management to the AOD service, ensuring effective service delivery and optimal outcomes for people who access the service.
You will be responsible for leading a team, offering clinical supervision, and maintaining high standards of care and professional practice.
Key Responsibilities: To be second in charge of the services, filling in for Director as required.To line manage and supervise the residential facility and Community Housing caseworkers, social workers, and nursing staff.Manage high quality service delivery to tangata whaiora.Complete administration and reporting requirements.Provide leadership around decisions relating to tangata whaiora, in conjunction with other leaders.Maintain strong professional relationships with external providers.Set high standards of professional practice for the service in conjunction with other team leaders.Develop practice improvements to the service and uphold professional boundaries.Encourage staff in their own training and practice.Participate in an on-call roster to offer support out of hours.Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of a degree (level 7) qualification in Social Work, Social Service, Counselling, Nursing, or similar.Registration to an appropriate industry body such as SWRB, DAPAANZ, NZAC, Nursing Council.Five years of proven experience in a similar senior leadership role in the health/social service sector.Experience with Operations Management and Staff Leadership.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please Apply Now to be considered.
