Babcock is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the Delivery team based in Devonport, Auckland.
About the role Step into the role of Facilities & Equipment Operations Manager (FEOM), where your leadership will shape the future of New Zealand's maritime operations. In this dynamic position, you will drive continuous improvement across vital shore-based support functions, including port operations, security, and facilities management. With the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and foster strong relationships within a collaborative stakeholder community, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of key outcomes for our Strategic Maritime Partner.
As the FEOM, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing operational support activities in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Your innovative approach and strategic leadership will ensure the seamless integration of new initiatives, improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. By leveraging regional and functional support, you'll elevate the competency and capability of your team, making a significant contribution to the evolving scope of New Zealand's maritime needs. About you You are an experienced and self-motivated leader with a proven track record in facilities and equipment management. Your ability to negotiate and manage conflicting priorities, combined with your strong problem-solving skills, make you an ideal candidate for this role.
