Operations Manager

Operations Manager Wanted!

Our client on the North Shore is looking for an Operations Manager ASAP! You will need to plan, quote, organize, direct and control activities and operations to ensure work is completed to the satisfaction of customers and all targets (quality, safety, productivity and profit) are met.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The position would suit a fit active person with a sound practical/trade background who wishes to advance into management.

A drivers license is essential

Ideally you will have several years of experience in the contracting industry preferably in Sheetmetal work, Electrician, Mechanic, or a similar engineering background.

The successful candidate will be able to think on his feet and occasionally work under pressure.

The person must be well organized with some basic computer skills

Proven production experience with responsibility and accountability for staff and plant. Would be an advantage.
