We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager (Area Manager) to lead and support our construction team across the Gisborne/Wairoa region. This pivotal role is integral to our commitment to delivering profitable operations and driving sustainable growth.
As the Operations Manager (Area Manager), you will provide strategic leadership to local managers and construction teams, focusing on profitable growth and operational excellence. Your role will involve developing and implementing effective business strategies while fostering a collaborative culture across multi-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee regional operations to ensure business objectives and budget targets are met. Support managers in enhancing existing business and pursuing new opportunities.
Manage, coach, and mentor your team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, anticipating needs and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
Drive a Zero Harm culture, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are prioritised in all operations.

A tertiary qualification in engineering or business management, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
