The Role
As Operations Manager, you'll be the engine that keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with our Chief Executive, you'll provide leadership in all aspects of our organisation's activities. Running the daily logistics and operations, will also see you sometimes needing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team to deliver our key projects and work plans to provide real impact for our community.
The role will start as part-time, 20 hrs/week, but there is the option to pick up an additional 12hrs/week as a facilitator, which would see you leading workshops, online hui/seminars, visiting workplaces & schools, delivering some face-to-face seminars to promote and drive workplace travel planning and Lightfoot's Active8 programme. The starting salary is offered pro-rata as a .5FTE. We offer flexible working conditions, which includes the opportunity to work from home and some negotiation as to the days / timing of hours of work.
What You'll Bring:
A commitment to the Lightfoot vision and a desire to drive positive change in sustainable transport.
Strong experience in operations management, ideally within a community-oriented or non-profit setting.
Excellent people skills with a proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop a small, committed team.
Strategic thinking and project management skills to keep our work focused and impactful, delivering outcomes on time and within budget.
A collaborative mindset, able to engage with a variety of stakeholders and build productive partnerships.
